Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is positive about his team picking a treble this campaign.
The Sky Blues have already missed out in their Premier League title defense after Liverpool have been crowned Champions following their defeat against Chelsea last week which created a 23 points gap between them and the Reds with less than 8 games remaining to play.
City return to their winning ways after a 2-0 win against Newcastle in the Emirates FA Cup to move to the semi finals where they are to meet the Gunners.
Speaking to Sky Sport after the game He said: “We are delighted after the defeat against Chelsea to be in London again at Wembley to play against Arsenal in the semi-final to try to reach the final of the FA Cup.
“Always it’s an incredible trophy and it gives us an extra bonus. We spoke after whgat happened in the Premier League – we need two more victories to qualify for Champions League.”
Manchester City are still in contention in the UEFA Champions League ,with the Etihad outfit winning Real Madrid 2-1 in the round of 16 first leg.
Speaking on meeting Real Madrid in the champions league second leg, Pep said: “But we have two competitions we can win. We made the first step today. It will be good to arrive against Real Madrid in the best condition. “To win this title would be the best way to prepare for Madrid.”
Manchester City have already won one title in February, the League Cup where they defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at Wembley to retain the Cup.
