The UEFA Europa League Highest Winning Managers since inception surprisingly consist of only seven managers. However, the competition is the second tier major European competition. From the 2009/10 campaign, the name of the competition was changed from UEFA Cup to UEFA Europa League.
As revealed by UEFA, the below highlighted coaches and ex. coaches are the highest winning managers of the UEFA Europa League since the inception.

1. Giovanni Trapattoni (Inter Milan & Juventus) – 3 titles.

Giovanni Trapattoni is joint highest winning manager of the UEFA Europa League title with former Sevilla boss Unai Emery. During his time as a manager, he was highlighted among the most successful club coach in the modern era of Serie A. Moreover, the Italian is the first manager to win the title for two different Italian club. He won the titles for Juventus in 1977 and 1993 and for Inter Milan in 1991.

2. Unai Emery (Sevilla) – 3 titles.

In past decade, Unai Emery have dominated the UEFA Europa League with Spanish club Sevilla. The Spanish coach is now level with Giovanni Trapattoni in the ranking of the highest winning managers of the UEFA Europa League. Moreover, he made all his triumph consecutively from 2014 to 2016 at Sevilla. Currently, he is the head coach of Spanish club Villarreal.

3. Luis Molowny (Real Madrid) – 2 titles.

Luis Molowny is the oldest and first deceased manager on the list. Both as a player and head coach, he made the highest appearances for Real Madrid. Moreover, he is the third highest winning manager of the UEFA Europa League. In addition, he is among the most decorated deceased coaches. The Spanish coach won the UEFA Europa League title for Real Madrid in 1985 and 1986.

4. Juande Ramos (Sevilla) – 2 titles.

Juande Ramos won the European coach of the year award in 2007 after leading Sevilla to their second UEFA Cup title consecutively. The Spanish manager has coached over 10 clubs with his stay at Sevilla the only memorable one. Also, he coached Real Madrid and Tottenham among the clubs he has managed. However, he is among the memorable Sevilla managers.

5. Rafael Benitez (Valencia & Chelsea) – 2 titles.

Rafael Benitez is among the most decorated coaches of his generation. Also, he is the fifth highest winning manager of the UEFA Europa League title. His first triumph in the competition was during his spell as Valencia’s head coach in 2004 while his most recent one was with Chelsea as interim boss in 2013. Currently, he manages Chinese Super League club Dalian Professional.

6. Jose Mourinho (FC Porto & Manchester United) – 2 titles.

Jose Mourinho is not only among the greatest managers of all time but also among the most decorated football coaches ever. However, his UEFA Cup triumph with FC Porto in 2003 was his first European title as a coach. In addition, he led Manchester United to win the 2017 UEFA Europa League title and became the second coach to win the competition as UEFA Cup and UEFA Europa League. Currently, the Portuguese is the head coach of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

7. Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) – 2 titles.

Diego Simeone is among the legendary figures of Atletico Madrid due to his achievement both as a player and a manager. In addition, the Argentine is among the longest serving managers in the Spanish La Liga. Since chis appointment in 2011, he has led the Spanish club to three UEFA Champions League finals without victory and two UEFA Europa League triumph in 2012 and 2018.
