Gianluigi Donnarumma says he is ‘proud’ to captain Milan and that they will ‘fight to the death’ to finish fifth this season.
Milan extended their unbeaten run since the restart last night, drawing 1-1 with Atalanta, and Donnarumma reflected on the result with mixed feelings.
“We knew we’d be facing a great team,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“We wanted to win at all costs, but it went well. Now we’re more compact, we all know what to do and we’re preparing well for the games.
“We did a great job, although it’s a shame about the point.
The goalkeeper captained his side in the absence of Alessio Romagnoli, who is injured.
