Arsenal fans can be eased with the news that their number one goal keeper is expected to return to action after two months due to injury.
If you remember, Bernd Leno was implicated in a collision with Brighton’s Neal Maupay which saw the German fall in a preversed manner and was stretched off
Arsenal introduced Emiliano Martinez their bench goal keeper who later came on and conceeded two goals from Dunk and Maupay as Gunners lost 2-1 Brighton Hove Albion making it their second loss in a row.
Ahead of game against Southampton, the club’s medical report on Leno reads:
“Right knee. Positive news after detailed assessments. Sustained moderate ligament sprain during Brighton & Hove (a) on Saturday. Aiming to return to full training in four to six weeks.”
