Atalanta Made Champions League debut for the first time in club History

The 2018/2019 Serie A league comes to an

end and Juventus as usual top the leagues



The team Fought very hard this season to

ensure their place in the European

competition at the expense of AC Milan.

After playing draw with Juventus at home,

they played their last match yesterday which

determined if they will get a ticket for

Champions League.


The Match proved to be a tough test as the

team found themselves trailing behind the

visitor in the first half of the game.


The goal from Berardi put the visitor’s ahead

in the early minute of the match, but Atalanta

kept their focuse,not too long the scorer was

handed a red card.


Goals from Duvan Zapata, Alejandro Dario

Gomez and Mario Pasalic helped turn the tie

on its head, as Sassuolo faded late on.


Francesco Magnanelli was also given his

marching orders, as the away team finished

the match with nine men.


This is their first time of qualifying for

Champions League in their 111-year history.
