After a long wait for the manager to succeed Maurizio sarri, after he left for the Series A champions Juventus.

Frank Lampard is now Chelsea’s new manager, after a long speculations and waiting.

Frank Lampard was announced this morning and has been confirmed as the new manager for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard will earn £5.5M per year, but he is not the highest paid manager in the division.

Speaking to the club’s website, the 41-year-old said: “I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach.

“Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared, however, my sole focus is on the job in hand and preparing for the season ahead.

“I am here to work hard, bring further success to the club and I cannot wait to get started.”

Frank Lampard has played 648 times for Chelsea, and he joined Chelsea from Derby.

The club granted him permission to open talks with the blues and has landed a three year deal with with former club Chelsea.

A replacement has been found for him in Derby County, Philip Cocu is the man to replace him.

Frank Lampard will be working with former teammate peter Cech who has been appointed as the clubs technical director.

His assistant manager in Derby county who was also is former team mate Jody Morris, will work with him as well as fitness coach Chris Jones.

Frank Lampard is regarded as one of the greatest player in the world, and Chelsea football club believes he has what it takes to be a great manager.
