Chelsea Transfer News: kovacic signed, Lampard agrees £4m per year contract.

Chelsea are on the brink of naming Frank Lampard as their new manager.

A source claims that one of Frank Lampard’s priority is to make the youth participate more in the senior team, he is ready to mix the academy players with the senior team.

The Croatian was signed for a reported fee of £40.3million following his loan spell at Stamford bridge last season.

He was suppose to return to Real Madrid today, but he has signed a 5 year contract to keep him in Stamford Bridge till 2024.

Kovacic said: “I really enjoyed my season on loan with Chelsea, I feel comfortable at the club and like London and the Premier League very much. I am very happy to be able to join permanently.

“We had a successful year, winning the Europa League and I hope I can make a big contribution in the coming seasons.”

although he couldnt score a goal since his debut in Stamford bridge, but he did excellently well in the Europa cup final,this made Marina Granovskaia happy to have signed such an accomplished player.

“Mateo proved what an accomplished player he is during his season on loan with us and we are delighted to welcome him to the club on a permanent basis,” she said.

“He already possesses extensive experience at club and international level and we are sure he will be a big success with Chelsea over the next five years.”
