Manchester City, started their premier league season on a very good note, with a 5-0 away win over West -Ham.
Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick, while Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero scored respectively, in a match that VAR played a heavy role.
West Ham who hosted the defending champion at home, was stunned when Gabriel Jesus sent in a goal in the 25th minute from an excellent cross from kyler Walker.
Sterling then doubles the lead in the 51st minute following a brilliant work from Kevin De Bruyne.
Gabriel Jesus goal was ruled out after sterling was seen on offside following the VAR detection.
Sterling doubles his goal ,giving Manchester city a 3-0 lead over West Ham after VAR allowed the goal to stand.
Sergio Aguero was substituted, but missed a penalty, thanks to VAR decision, the penalty was then re-taken and Aguero gave Manchester City a 4-0 win over the home team.
The defending champion wrapped up their win, with a goal from Raheem Sterling, who recorded his first hat-trick for the season, giving Manchester City a 5-0 win, to bring them to the summit of the table.
