Everton vs West Ham Preview

It’s the first first Premier League match of 2021 which features Goodison Park outfit Everton, welcome West Ham on New Year’s Day.
The two teams are currently flying on the Premier League in the wake of their fantastic start to the 2020/2021 season; The Toffees ended 2020 in the top four while the Londoners sit 10th, a position that makes European football a possibility.
Carlo Ancelotti’s tutored Everton side would come into today’s game fresh after their match against Manchester City was postponed and having won four in their last five, they have the edge they need for victory.
As for the Hammers, they are winless in four but have drawn three of those; including the latest draw against Southampton at the St Mary’s on Tuesday – and David Moyes is looking for that little extra to get his side over the line for three points this time around against his former employers.
The match will be played behind closed doors at Goodison Park due to coronavirus restrictions.
