Five Football Stars Whose Future Are Uncertain In Their Current Club.

In every transfer window, football clubs recruit new players in order to strengthen their squad ahead of the next season or to replace players to they just sold to other clubs. Some of this new players try their best to make impact in their new team while some are just tagged as flops after their first season or less. Some football stars tend to lose their position to a new recruitee because of their bad or below excepted performance.
Below is a list of five players whose future in their current team is in doubt and uncertain, I bet you can’t guess correctly the five players who made the list.

1. Dele Alli (Tottenham) –

Dele Alli is one of the best young midfielders currently in the world of football. His former boss Mauricio Pochettino said Alli plays like a second striker in the box and like a midfielder out the box. The attacking midfielder has been left out of Tottenham Hotspur squad due to lack of form and also laziness as Jose Mourinho described him. His future in Tottenham is uncertain because Spurs head coach has refused to include his name in major matches, Paris Saint Germain are leading the race to sign the Englishman on loan this summer but Tottenham have rubbished the idea by rejecting the French giants offer.

2. Alex Iwobi (Everton) –

Alex Iwobi has a tough battle ahead of him to fight, his first team spot has been competitive ever since the Toffees signed James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Real Madrid and Watford respectively. Last season was the Nigerian worst season ever where he scored just a goal in Twenty five appearances. The former Arsenal winger future at Goodison Park is in doubt because he has a lot of improvement to make before he can break back into his team’s first squad.

3. Thomas Lemar (Atletico Madrid) –

Thomas Lemar has been a disappointment to the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, he hasn’t contributed to any of the Spanish side’s goal for over a year now. Despite his good qualities, he hasn’t been a good impact at the Spanish club since his arrival in 2018. The Frenchman has managed to score only three goals in Fifty four appearances for Atletico Madrid. Lemar’s future at Atletico Madrid is uncertain because of his poor performance. He was involved in a player plus cash offer for Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette.

4. Matteo Guendouzi (Arsenal) –

Matteo Guendouzi is yet to feature for the Gunners in any match since 20th June 2020 when he had an heated dispute with Brighton & Hove Albion winger Neal Maupay. His attitude raised so many criticism and he has been left out of the squad ever since, it was not that alone that made him to be sacked from the squad but because he has an history of issues with his attitude and general conduct. Out of everyone on the list, it’s only Guendouzi that his future at Arsenal is totally uncertain because the Gunners are looking to cash in on the midfielder, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain are part of the clubs who are monitoring the Frenchman.

5. Victor Moses (Chelsea) –

Victor Moses is one of the longest serving players of Chelsea. The 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations winner was loaned to Inter Milan last season and has returned back to Chelsea with hopes of featuring for the Blues. Moses has not played for Chelsea since ex player and teammate Frank Lampard became the Blues head coach. His future is very uncertain because he is a surplus according to Chelsea picking order, the Nigerian might not play for Chelsea again because the latest signings won’t be benched for him. He needs to step up his game and pick up his form before he would be considered for a competitive match.
