Five Players Who Could Switch Clubs On The Transfer Deadline Day.

Today is the deadline for all transfer for English teams to buy players from foreign clubs. Due to the effect of Coronavirus on football widely so some teams are yet to complete the signature of their major transfer target and might make the move on the final day. Last summer transfer deadline day £170 million was spent.
Here are some players who could switch from their current team on the transfer deadline day.

1. Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund – Manchester United) –

There is a big question to ask about this transfer on the transfer deadline day and it is if Manchester United are ready to improve their recent offer of £91.3m which was rejected by Borussia Dortmund. Jadon Sancho has been the Red Devils number one transfer target and they have been linked with the youngster throughout the summer window. The German club had set 10th of August for a deal to be finalized with them believing that the Englishman is worth more than £100 million.

2. Edinson Cavani (Free agent – Manchester United) –

Edinson Cavani, the former Paris Saint Germain striker is expected to complete a move to Manchester United today. The Uruguayan forward has been in talks with the Red Devils and it’s likely that he gets a two years contract. He left PSG at the end of June when his contract expired and also he left after a disagreement with his teammate Neymar Jr.

3. Houssem Aouar (Lyon – Arsenal) –

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Olympique Lyon midfielder and the club’s president has said that the Gunners has fallen short of valuation of the France midfielder. As a reply for what Olympique Lyon’s president Jean-Michel Aulas said about Houssem Aouar’s valuation, Arsenal are ready to improve their offer for the French midfielder on the transfer deadline day. Juventus and Paris Saint Germain are also linked with a move for the Olympique Lyon midfielder and might hijack the transfer from the Gunners. Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas  also confirmed that three unknown clubs with UEFA Champions League record are also interested in their midfielder.

4. Daniel James (Manchester United – Leeds United) –

Daniel James has been the top of premier league latest returnee Leeds United transfer wishlist revealed by the club owner Andrea Radrizzani. The only time a move for the Wales winger will work out is only his parent club Manchester United sign a new forward on the deadline day. James joined Manchester United last summer from Swansea for £18 million and he is a target for Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa who is looking to add a new winger to his squad before the transfer window closes.

5. Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona – Manchester United) –

Due to difference in the valuation of Jadon Sancho between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, the English club have then transferred their attention to Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele as an alternative for Jadon Sancho. The Frenchman has only featured once for Barcelona under their new coach Ronald Koeman. The Frenchman signed for Barcelona in 2017 for a transfer fee of €105 million which made it the second most expensive footballer at that time.
