10.Porto (Portugal) – 74 trophies

The Portuguese team nicknamed after their Dragons after the fire breathing dragon on thier logo are the second most decorated football club after Benfica in Portugal.Porto have accumulated a sum of 74 trophies making them the tenth club with the highest trophy in the world.They won 69 of their 74 trophies from their domestic competitions, these comprises of 28 Primeira Liga titles five of which have been consecutive, 16 Taça de Portugal, 4 Campeonato de Portugal, and 21 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.Porto is the second team in Portuguese league history to have won two titles without any defeat.

In international competitions, FC Porto are the most decorated Portuguese team, with five trophies. They won the UEFA Champions League in 1987 and 2004, the UEFA Europa League in 2003 and 2011 and the UEFA Super Cup in 1987.Porto has the most appearances in the UEFA Champions League group stage with 23 appearances behind Barcelona and Real Madrid who has 24 appearances respectively.


9.Olympiacos (Greece) – 75 trophies

1.Al Ahly (Egypt) – 118 trophies

Number one in terms of the most trophies won by a football club in the world, Al Ahly remains number one because no other team has broken their record which is still counting.They are known as “the club of the century”, Al Ahly were founded in 1907 in Cairo.They have won more than 90 domestic trophies, few of them are 41 Egyptian Premier League titles seven of which have been in a row from 1994 to 2000. They have also won 36 national cups and 11 national super cups.

Al Ahly who are the number one football team with the highest trophies in the world are way-behind Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid in terms of success in football.Some of the other trophies won by them are the Sultan Hussein Cup, CAF Cup Winners’ Cup, CAF Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Arab Club Champions Club.
