Inter Milan have already secured the signing of Achraf Hakimi and have opened talks with the Blues to sign their Italian left back Emerson Palmieri.
Hakimi finally joined Inter on Thursday in a €45m deal to become Inter’s first-choice right wingback next season.
Now, Sky Sport Italia is reporting Antonio Conte wants Emerson to be his left wingback and has therefore instructed the Nerazzurri to pursue him.
Although no official bid has been made yet, the broadcaster confirms the Beneamata have begun negotiations with Chelsea for the 25-year-old who he signed for Chelsea in 2018 from Roma
However, he has played just 53 times in two-and-a-half seasons, failing to truly dislodge Marcos Alonso as the Blues’ default left-back.
