Valencia winger Ferran Torres wants to join Manchester City but his club are holding out for at least £40million.
The Spanish youngster has one year left on contract and has repeatedly refused to agree new terms.
Ferran Torres performance has singled him out as one of the club’s best asset who have attracted attention for big European clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. Valencia are ready to cash out from him as they don’t want him to leave below their valuation.
The youngster who has a £90milion buy out clause wants to follow the footsteps of a number of his compatriots by playing for Pep Guardiola at Man City.
City want Torres as a replacement for Leroy Sane, who they sold to Bayern Munich for £54million, but do not want to pay an inflated price in the current climate for a player with one year left on his contract.
