The French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint Germain have revealed after confirmation that three of their players and one member of staff have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to reports, the French club carried out tests on players and all staffs that confirmed the cases on Monday.
A statement on PSG’s website read: “These individuals had exhibited symptoms during the confinement period when they were not in contact with each other.
“They are no longer contagious and will resume their training program.”
Paris Saint Germain were crowned champions of the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season in April following the cancellation of the remainder of the season due to Covid-19 and positions were decided on a points-per-game basis.
Meanwhile, the French giants are due to return to training ahead of their remaining fixtures which includes, the Coupe de France, Coupe de La Ligue and the resumption of the Champions League.
PSG are expected to resume training in small groups on Thursday
