Super Eagles AFCON dream cannot be stopped by Cameroon says Adepoju

The former Super Eagles star Mutiu Adepoju said in an interview that Cameroon cannot stop Nigeria AFCON’s Dream in Egypt when they meet in the round of 16 clash on saturday.

The legend says he believes that Super Eagles have all it takes to knock out the reigning champion on saturday.

“To be candid, I was not really happy when the Super Eagles lost to Madagascar in their last group B fixture.

“But I want to believe the players and technical crew must have learned from their mistakes and be willing to deliver against a Cameroonian side that also managed just two goals.

“Well, I am confident Nigeria has what it takes to defeat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon if they play as a team.

Nigeria Super Eagles qualify in group B behind Madagascar who top the group after beating Nigeria in their last group match. Although in their last three encounter with the indomitable lions of cameroon, it has always been a defeat, but currently Nigeria has got a better team to knock the lions out.

Headmaster as Mutiu Adepoju is fondly called, told our correspondence that Nigeria has learnt from their mistakes against Madagascar and they are as ready to finish the job come saturday.

Adepoju call on Nigeria super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to play the best players and not to select base on sentiments.

Nigeria will face Cameroon at the Alexandria stadium on saturday.
