Gernot Rohr voouch to make changes to the Eagles squad when they face Madagascar in their final group game match on sunday.
Super Eagles will face Madagascar in their last game in group B on sunday, they have already secure a place in the round off 16, they made history making them the first team to qualify to the Knock-out stage of 2019 AFCON.
Players like Victor Osimehin and Henry Onyekuru will likely to play on sunday, as Rohr confirms that many players are still fighting for their spots in the team.
“I can say you can expect some changes because I want to put everybody under pressure to be concerned by the matches,”Rohr said at Saturday morning’s press conference.
‘There is competition for each position now, even in the goalkeeper department, even in the central defense, even for the striker positions.
“We will see in the last training this evening which changes we can make. In the last match we had five changes and it’s possible that there will be changes in the match for tomorrow.”
The super Eagles stated that though the Madagascar teams are rank low in the tournament, but at the same time, the super eagles needs to play with all seriousness as the Madagascar team are physically fit.
Rohr added that the team have a very good coach and he is technically good, and super eagles have to maintain the top spots by ensuring victory over Madagascar.
‘They have the experience to recover very quickly, and they started like us on the same day and tomorrow’s match is very open against this good team of Madagascar.”
Super Eagles will square it out with Madagascar tomorrow by 5pm on sunday.
