The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is arguably both Africa and Europe’s hotbed in terms of recruiting talented players.
As such the league has over the years produced brilliant players who has gone on to achieve success elsewhere either with a foreign club in Europe or top teams from the continent.
While the game of football is becoming more lucrative with hefty investment, the value of the players also experience a change in terms of their monetary value.

The former Kano Pillars forward arrived at the Msimbazi giants during the mini transfer window in 2021 from Esperance, to boost the team chances of qualifying for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Eric Asamoah Frimpong – (Niger Tornadoes, €300Th)
Niger Tornadoes and Ghanaian midfielder Frimpong who his been referred to as the assist king comes second on this list after been valued €300Th by Transfer market.
The 32 year old now plays is football with Niger Tornadoes but his time at Bayelsa United is arguably the best moments in the Nigeria Professional Football League, where he dazzled both in the league and CAF Confederation Cup providing eight assists.
The former CS Hammalif winger may not be trickery and fast like his time at Bayelsa United, but then the Ghanaian his still rated as one of the most valuable players in the NPFL.
Sunday Faleye – (Shooting Stars, €225Th)
In third position his the Oluyole Warriors darling star Sunday Faleye who recently joined the club on loan from Dukla Prague in Czech.
The forward was signed by the Czech Republic side on a three year deal in 2021 in an effort to enjoy more playing opportunities after finding time at his Austrian club hard to come by.

Solomon Kwanbe – (Lobi Stars, €175Th)
Former Sunshine Stars right back Solomon Kwanbe was once one of NPFL most sought after right back in the league, but now there are more upcoming right backs who can give him a run for his money from that position.
Though Kwanbe isn’t one of NPFL gem anymore compared to when he first burst into the scene with the Akure gunners, however, the right back his still currently rated by Transfer market as one of the most valuable players in the league.

Bronze winner at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon Jean Efala also makes the list as one of the most valuable players in the NPFL.
Efala has been one the key performer for the Promise Keepers in league this season and also played a significant roles in their quest in winning the league last season.
Making this list isn’t a surprise because the experience goalie has been quite brilliant for Akwa United having joined from Coton Sport in 2019, and should any team wants to prize him away from the Uyo based team such club would have to cough out a whopping €150Th which his the value in the transfer market.
