Wembley 2023? UEFA  to confirm Wembley as the host venue for the 2023 Champions League final.

St Petersburg and Munich will also be confirmed by the organisation’s president Aleksander Cerefin as the venues for the 2021 and 2022 UEFA champions League final at UEFA’s ExCo meeting in Ljubljana next Tuesday.

Although the Uefa body do announce the venue yearly, but to enable proper future planning, they have decided to announce three years venue in advance.

Zenit St Petersburg’s Krestovsky Stadium holds 68,000, while Munich’s Allianz Arena holds 75,000.

Wembley stadium will be the eighth time the iconic stadium has hosted the European final, and the stadium will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of its opening comes Wembley 2023.

The 90,000-capacity arena last hosted the final between the two German Clubs, where Bayern Munich defeated Borrusia Dortmund 2-1.

Sky Sports report that the footballing governing body plan to make the announcement next week.
