Valencia are considering signing Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who they bought from Athletic Bilbao for a world record fee of a goal keeper.
The Spanish club want to sign their country man as a replacement for current keeper Jasper Cillessen – who is linked with a summer exit firstly on a two year loan.
According to reports, If Valencia can strike a deal with the Premier League side, it is likely to also have an option to buy clause after the two-year loan spell.
The Spaniard’s future at the club has been in doubt since the turn of the year, as he was dropped for 38-year-old back-up goalkeeper Willy Cabellero.
This approach from Valencia might pave a way for Chelsea’s target Andre Onana in the team, Onana has impressed with his performance at Ajax as Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in acquiring the 24-year-old stopper.
