Willian has hailed Chelsea team-mate N’Golo Kante as his toughest opponent and backed Frank Lampard to become a ‘great manager’.

Kante played for Leicester City before joining Chelsea in 2016 and Willian says the French World Cup-winner was one of the ‘most annoying’ players he faced.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Kante has developed into a firm fans’ favorite and is still regarded as one of the best midfielders in world football.

Asked to name a player he struggled against, Brazil international Willian told Bolivia Talk Show: ‘I played against Kante, who today is my teammate when he was at Leicester.

‘He is the kind of player who you have to dribble past like ten times because he always comes back.‘So he is one of the most annoying players I’ve faced, also during training.’

Willian, 31, has made more than 300 appearances for Chelsea since signing from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 but will be out of contract come the summer.
